Wow, your generosity is overewhelming, literally. I had been trying to write a personal thank-you for each contribution, but it was starting to get a little time consuming. My mother-in-law pointed out that I need to be saving up my energy as we approach Chemo Land, and she's right.

SO please know that we are just unbelievably grateful for each and every contribution, and it's so encouraging to read you sweet notes and messages, and I am reading them. ...slowly. And I'll continue to keep everyone up to date with Thomas's progress and let you know what life as we know it looks like as much as I can. But I'm going to be protective of my time.

I'm sure you all understand, but I wanted to say that. Thanks, everyone.
-Sarah

okay, I think you're right, Sarah. You have way too much going on to write individual notes. Good decision. :)

Our second grade class at Emanuel Lutheran School, Patchogue, New York has Baby Thomas on our daily prayer list. I believe deeply in the faith and prayers of young children and hope that the knowledge that 7 and 8 year olds pray for Thomas each school day becomes part of the arms of faith that you feel supporting the three of you each day. My dear precious Sarah---absolutely --you must be protective of your time with Thomas. It is no accident that your son was given to you and Scott. He knew exactly what kind of parents and family that precious Thomas would need and that would be you! May you, Scott and all of your family be lifted by all of the love that is coming your way.

I am so sorry that this has happened to you and your family. You are all incredibly strong, and I admire your ability to keep your sense of humor. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Have you applied for the Margaret Reynolds Fund at PISD. It was developed for families in crisis; this seems like the exact reason it was developed. Here is the link:
