A Few Things

A) We are still in the hospital, and we're looking at being here for the rest of the week, possibly. Thomas did perk up after the transfusion, but he still has a fever and vomited a couple more times. We're looking at things to do about his ongoing nausea, but most of the options stink.

In the meantime, he has discovered his ears, making him fully aware of almost all his body parts. At least all the ones I'm going to tell you about.

B) Scott wrote something for the blog. It's probably his only personal essay of any kind since he and I moved to the same state permanently, so I'm very excited. That's coming Wednesday.

C) Francie's Mitzvah is coming - the Spaghetti Dinner that I told you about is coming this Sunday from 5 - 8. This was in the flyer I got: "Hear the PSHS Jazz Band and the PanCats Steel Drum Band and watch the Robinson Cheerleaders! Enjoy spaghetti, marinara sauce, salad, garlic bread, dessert, and drinks." It's at my school, Jasper, and if you'd like to attend, email Gayle Johnson at Gjohnso@pisd.edu and she can send you the order form.

Dear Sweet Precious Thomas--I pray for you tonight visions of baby angels all around you---and you looking at them with such interest that you forget your nausea - reaching out to them - trying to touch their wings and them playfully flying all about you!! I pray for you a night full of rest - and for your mom and dad - a night where their hears and minds are able to be with you in your dreams - enjoying you!! I love you all!
