a Thomas Tuesday

It's amazing how much fuller my hands are with full-time Thomas than they were with a full time job. I'll do some real writing soon, but basically:

* Thomas had a tremendous, fabulous, unprecendented (AT) two weeks and six days at home. He is wiggly and giggly and has a routine and eveything. We've been desperately trying to get the house ready for his curious, intent fingers.

* Sunday night, we got really worried about him. Thomas woke up around midnight just obviously not feeling well. Scott has first shift, and when I got up and he looked scared, I knew something must be really wrong.

* But, he's ok. We took him - Thomas; Scott had to recover on his own - in to the ER and got admitted, just one day before our scheduled appointment. It looks like it's the same infection as last time, which is good because last time's treatment worked well. Today he was pretty tired but otherwise back to normal - busy flirting with the nurses, doggedly trying to pull mom's hair, and crawling backwards (this is normal, I promise).

More to come when I get a free hand. . .
