Newsflash...

Thomas is rocking the no-trach world. He is talking more and more: Tonight, when I was taking him to bed, we said, "Say night-night to Dada" like always, but Thomas said, "Nah Nah Aba*," like he said it all the time. Except he had never said it before.

This week, Thomas's "open," "book," "up," "moon**" and "vrrrrrrrrrrr"*** are clearer than they've ever been. And also "love" ...which, I admit, I may be making up but it seems like he's saying it this week.

Also, his speech therapist was so pleased with Thomas's eating that she made new goals for him. We did the happy dance about that one.

All of this comes in the week when I have started working at my new job at Southwest Airlines ****. Oh, AND, Scott has started looking for summer jobs because Thomas will be clear to start day care. We can't get our minds around that fact at all.

AND we are getting ready to post the link for our, ojala-que***** LAST fundraiser, the one that will help bridge the gap back into the world of the fully employed. I've never loved Coporate America so much in my whole life.

So, Happy Friday to you, too.

Cool. Once they start going with words and provided there's no ill health they can really zoom of with the talking. Like the not-being-able-to-talk-because-of-the-trachy bit never happened.
